1-Day Bangalore to Mysore Trip Itinerary:
Departure: Bangalore
Distance between Bangalore and Mysore: roughly 150 kilometers (93 miles).
Travel Time: Approximately 3 hours (depending on traffic and mode of transport).
Leave Bangalore early in the day around 5AM to beat the traffic so that you can reach approximatly at 8 AM. For a comfortable ride, use the Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway (NH275). On the way you can have a quick breakfast.
Arrive in Mysore between 8:00 and 10:00 AM and move ahead immediately to the Mysore Palace. Explore the magnificent palace, it's design, and discover its past. Additionally, spend some time at the palace gardens.

Drive to Chamundi Hill, one of Mysore's most recognizable attractions, between 10:30 and 11:30 am. Visit the Chamundeshwari Temple by going up the road or the steps. View Mysore in it's entirety from the hills.
from Chamundi Hill then head towards St. Philomena's Church which is Approximately 12 km (7.5 miles) far from it.
Visit St. Philomena's Church, a wonderful neo-gothic church famous for its impressive architecture and lovely interiors, between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. Spend some time in alone meditating.
next you can move towards Mysore Zoo which is around 4 km from the St. Philomena's Church
Get into the Mysore Zoo between 1:30 and 3:00 PM by taking the ticket at the entrance. Once you enter into the Zoo by swiping the ticket the Zoo staff will collect all the plastic materials from you with some amount which you can get it back before the exit but you have to show all the plastic items(with sticker attached on top of it) which you carried inside the Zoo. Mysore Zoo is one of the India's ancient and clean zoos. Explore the wide range of animals and birds and make sure you don't disturb any birds or animal.
Distance from Mysore Zoo to Brindavan Gardens: Approximately 29 km (18 miles)
3:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Drive to the famous Brindavan Gardens located adjacent to the Krishnarajasagara Dam. Spend the late afternoon enjoying the beautifully landscaped gardens, musical fountain show, and boating on the illuminated lake (evening show starts around 6:30 PM).
Distance from Brindavan Gardens to Bangalore: Approximately 143 km (89 miles)
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Depart from Mysore and start your journey back to Bangalore. You can stop for dinner on the way or have dinner in Bangalore, depending on your preference.
